The current rise in COVID-19 infections in the Netherlands has led to the decision that the rescheduled National Open Science Festival will take place in an online setting on February 11th, 2021.
The annual Open Day on Open Science will take place on 24 September 2020, this time with the theme: Drop your data FAIR. This online event takes place from 1:00 PM - 5:00 PM.
NWO wants to give a further boost to the open access availability of academic books that result from its funding. That is why NWO will make 500,000 euros available per 1 June 2020.
On the 18th of November the Dutch Data Prize will be awarded to a researcher or research group who makes extra contributions to science by making research data available for (additional) research.
