TU Eindhoven opts for green route

The Executive Board of Eindhoven University of Technology (TU/e) has opted for the green route towards open access. As of 1 April 2015, TU/e researchers are required to submit the final author’s version of journal articles for deposition in the TU/e repository. Authors no longer have to state an embargo period on submission. The Information Expertise Centre will ensure that articles are made available as open access material following the expiry of any embargo period by the journal concerned.

The new open access policy was announced at the recent OA symposium in Eindhoven in an address by Rector Magnificus Hans van Duijn.
