Platform Open Research Europe launched

The European Commission has launched Open Research Europe.

Scientific publications that are the result of Horizon 2020 and, in the short term, also Horizon Europe funding can be placed on this open access platform.

The platform is open for publications from all scientific disciplines. The publication can be published open access at no cost. It concerns multiple scientific publication types, such as articles, methods and essays. Open Research Europe is not a repository. It explicitly concerns original publications with scientific results on the basis of the aforementioned funding. The publication may not have already appeared elsewhere.

The peer review process is arranged transparently on the platform. Citations and other metrics are registered on the platform, so that the impact can be measured. The aim is to give everyone access to the results of European-funded research, without barriers.
