Prof. Rovers researches the effectiveness and cost-effectiveness of new surgical techniques. This research is largely conducted within MITeC (Medical Innovation & Technology expert Centre), a partnership between Radboud university medical center, the University of Twente and various industrial partners. She also plays an active in the Cochrane Collaboration, most notably in the area of meta-analyses of individual patient data.
